NMIMS was established in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal with the help of a donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust as a Management Institute affiliated to University of Mumbai. Today, NMIMS is one of the top 10 B-schools in India. In 1994, we opened our doors to students who were looking to balance their education and work. The Bachelor of Commerce is a three-year (spanning 6 semesters) undergraduate program designed to provide an extensive exploration of theoretical principles and functional domains within the field of commerce.

Learning materials are prepared for the courses as per UGC guidelines – the four quadrant approach. Every course has recorded videos covering the syllabus, recording of synchronous sessions that are scheduled for the semester, digital learning materials that students can refer to for learning, discussion forums where faculty can interact with students and clarify their doubts, and self-assessment quizzes.
