NMIMS was established in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal with the help of a donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust as a Management Institute affiliated to University of Mumbai. The Master of Business Administration (Working Executive) Program extends over a duration of two years, meticulously crafted to offer a comprehensive exploration of theoretical principles and functional domains inherent in the realm of Management.
The curriculum encompasses a diverse array of courses carefully structured to facilitate a thorough investigation of fundamental concepts, established practices, and emerging trends within the designated subject area.
The curriculum is organized into core courses in the first two semester, the third semester includes core courses in Managerial Economics and Strategic Management.
Students have the opportunity to choose electives based on their career goals, with specializations available in Marketing, Leadership and Strategy, Operations and Supply Chain, Applied Finance, and Digital Marketing.
The program concludes with a Capstone Project in the sixth semester, providing students with the opportunity to apply their acquired knowledge and skills.
